Hello,
We are happy to use EE on our site something strange is happening if you go here http://skillforge.com/courses/adobe-acrobat-dc-training/ and add any training to cart it will add course perfectly to cart but when you view cart our site turns https due to ssl slug written in plugin event-registration which takes you here https://skillforge.com/event-registration/?regevent_action=show_shopping_cart

and you will see cart is empty if i add this product with https url like this http://skillforge.com/courses/adobe-acrobat-dc-training/ then it shows in cart

How to fix the issue?

Thanks

Hi Joelw,

Basically if you secure the EE checkout pages, then any page you create that has the cart buttons on will need to also be HTTPS.

So: http://skillforge.com/courses/adobe-acrobat-dc-training/

Needs to also be set to HTTPS.

Which plugin are you using to secure the pages?

We solved this issue by writing courses url as https

But we have new issue

when you actually try to complete payment with a credit card. When you fill in credit card details and click “Complete Purchase” you get a dialog box telling you that you are leaving the page. This never happened before. If you agree to leave the page the payment completes successfully if you stay it keeps on loading not sure what is wrong with system

See screenshot here http://oi67.tinypic.com/2z656yo.jpg

You can try to test on website

Hello,

I’ve seen this before when there was a modified version of the payment gateway in use from an old version of Event Espresso.

Is there a custom payment gateway installed in this location?

Hi there,

You can either update your modified copy of the PayPal Pro gateway by copying over files from the updated core EE3 plugin, or remove the customized files from /wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways so that the updated gateway files’ code can execute.
