Problem adding new registrations

Hello!

I’ve been having a problem when adding a new registration in Event Espresso.
After getting to Event Espresso > Events > [an event] > Registration, when I add a new registration, it redirects back to the front page of the dashboard and no changes are made.

I saw that it might be a conflict with Yoast WordPress SEO, but I deactivated that plugin and the problem still persists.

Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

Hi Beth,

Are you on the latest version at Event Espresso 4.4.5?

If so, could you temporarily deactivate all plugins and then go to WP-admin –> Settings –> Permalinks.

Then try again?

If it works, then restore your site a few plugins at a time until you locate the source of the conflict.

Hi Lorenzo,

What are we supposed to do when going to Permalinks?

Hi Beth,

Just browsing to that page will refresh your permalinks.

If Event Espresso still isn’t working, then your install may be damaged. This may happen if you installed manually using an SFTP or FTP client.

Try downloading a new copy from your Event Espresso account page:

https://eventespresso.com/users/bethshero/#ee4-downloads

Then remove the existing version.
From there, you can re-install through WordPress Plugins –> Add New –> Upload.
