I have used Price Modifier for a few of my customers. Lately, I’ve been having some issues with it and Aparna’s Codex has been unresponsive when I ask for support. Is there any chance that Event Espresso may add that functionality to the main product?

I was just looking at adding this plugin. There are no dates on the change log, and the last blog post is from 2018, so it doesn’t look like the plug-in is being maintained.
The functionality is something I am interested in.
Plus 1 for the feature request.

Hi there,
Whilst I don’t want to rule out us adding that functionality into Event Espresso, we don’t have any plans to do so currently and with the number of requests for other features much higher than this it would be unlikely to be something we worked on ‘soon’.
Again, I’m not saying this isn’t something we would look into adding in the future, I just want to be upfront about the fact that other features would be considered a higher priority before we start could even start looking into this at this time.
May I ask what issues you’ve run into with it?

Is the error you are getting only from message previews?

The error posted appears to be from the preview message data and is happening because the pricing add-on is trying to use an EE_Question object method when it doesn’t actually have a question to run the method on.
But…. that’s only going to happen on the preview data its dummy data and question don’t have real relationships to answers within that. So because you won’t be parsing questions that don’t relate to answers on ‘real’ registration emails, it shouldn’t cause any major issues although could be altered to just skip the question in the above situation.
