Hi,

Looking at switching from Eventbrite to this and integrating it with my WordPress site.

Few questions for you:

Does Event Espresso support wait lists?
Will Event Espresso support Canadian dollars?
Can I have some events in US dollars and others in Canadian dollars?
We have a tax called GST on Canada. Can I add this to events and have it shown separately on the client’s receipt?
What credit card processors are supported?
Is there an ability to transfer an attendee from one event to another?

Thanks in advance for the information.

Paul

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your interest in Event Espresso.

Does Event Espresso support wait lists?

Yes. The admin will need to manually transfer the user though.

Will Event Espresso support Canadian dollars?

It does yes.

Can I have some events in US dollars and others in Canadian dollars?

Not currently. However, depending on the payment gateway your customers can usually pay in whatever currency they desire (for example PayPal can do this)

We have a tax called GST on Canada. Can I add this to events and have it shown separately on the client’s receipt?

We have a surcharge option that can be used to add a fixed or percentile amount to tickets.

Currently the default invoice shows the the whole amount, rather than a breakdown.

What credit card processors are supported?

Our currently supported gateways can be found here: https://eventespresso.com/features/payment-options/

Is there an ability to transfer an attendee from one event to another?

Not within the default plugin, but we have a (free) Beta add on plugin that can transfer and clone attendees to other events.

Let me know if you need clarification on anything or have further questions.

There is a big issue with not treating tax properly on an Invoice! It is illegal.
Certainly in the UK

Hi David,

Can you create a new topic and explain more about why the invoice is illegal? We have many customers in the UK who use Event Espresso.

My issue is with the Infusionsoft add-on that doesn’t express vat as a separate line item.

Hi David,

This is a completely different topic. Can you create a new topic in the forums so we can address this with you?
