Hi,

I am trying to evaluate this product for a project but have a few questions:
1. Does EE3 support SagePay Forms, this forum post suggests it might https://eventespresso.com/topic/sagepay-gateway-3/ however I cannot see the staff members response unless I purchase a License?

2. I would like to trial EE3 with the scannable ticket option to evaluate its suitability, is this possible?

3. The project we are working on has two types of ticket one for events and secondly one for entry to the facility. Does EE3 have the facility for the second option.

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for your interest in Event Espresso.

1) We have had interest in the gateway but it never got off the ground. The customer in that forum thread used a third party company to have the gateway installed.

EE4 has the Mijireh gateway that does support Sagepay in the UK and Ireland (Sage in the US and Canada, not sure if that’s the same or not).

2) You can request a test drive via this form – https://eventespresso.com/pricing/test-drive-event-espresso/

3) I’m not sure exactly how that would work. The tickets EE produces are printable PDF’s that contain standard info and a QR code (for scanning), plus extra data like a map. If that is sufficient then it could be added as a secondary event (thus a secondary ticket). Without knowing more info it is hard to say for sure.

Let me know if you have any other questions or need further clarification.

Hi Dean,

Thanks for your response, I wasn’t clear on my last point. What I was trying to ask was, the venue is a museum and would like to sell tickets online for general entry to the venue. These are not date or time specific, I was wondering what the best way of doing this was. They still want scan-able tickets and they also have formal events. It is the general entry issue I was most interested in.

Thanks

Hi there Michael,

The event editor needs a date to correctly save the event. You could set a start date for the beginning of this year and another date far into the future.

Then the event date on the event registration page can be hidden by using a line of CSS.
