Hello Sundar,

We appreciate your interest in Event Espresso. Please see my answers to your questions below.

1. In the Seating Chart (Alpha)is there option to create more than 1000 seats, how the row and numbering system works, once multiple seats selected is there any option to choose between variable tickets(i.e. Adults, Kids and Special).
Yes. You can create as many seats as are needed. We have customers who create seating charts for thousands of seats. Once you install the seating chart, you will be able to add seats and rows through the dashboard. You can also upload a custom seating layout file (csv/excel) if you like. Yes. You can set pricing levels for each seat.

2. Front end submission of events is Possible by any event orgainiser including seat charts/maps?
It is possible to allow users to create events from the front end with our Front End Event Manager add-on. This requires the WP User Integration add-on that is included in the Business License. And the admin will have to assign the seating chart on the back end, since there isn’t functionality to allow creating/adding a seating chart on the front end.

Let us know if you have anymore questions.

I have tried the demo version and noticed some features are missing, I don’t know I am missing something here,
1. At the Event Registration there is only one option can be choosed for selecting tickets (eg. premium seat $100.00 but if want to include children Seat $50.00 there is no way I can add that into the cart) how 2 adults and 2 child can be added to cart.
2. What is the maximum number of tickets can be added to cart. Currently I see only 5 can be selected from drop down and is there anyway increase that number.
3. While printing the ticket I purchased 3 tickets @ 52.50 each the total should be 157.50 but in the ticket it shows as 52.50 Qty 3. If a customer buy 2 adults and 2 kids tickets how the qty and price is going to be displayed.

Hi Sundar,

With #1, currently the seating chart is not compatible with Multi Event Registration, and right now the only way to select two different ticket types within one transaction is by using Multi Event Registration.

If the seating chart is not required for the project, you can use the Multi Event Registration add-on to allow for multiple ticket type selection.

For example, if you go to the test drive site and look at this demo event:
https://eventespresso.com/testdrive/?ee=16209

you’ll see a link there for registering groups that redirects to the cart view so you can register groups and select tickets at both price points. Feel free to go into the editor for that event to see how it’s set up.

For #2, you can set a maximum of around for group registrations to 999 or so I’d say. If you go higher some browsers will have difficulty loading up the quantity dropdown. The group registration limit can be changed under “Event Options” (third option down labled: Max Group Registrations).

For #3, it will print out a separate ticket for each price type. So if a customer buys 2 adult tickets, they’ll get one ticket that says 2 adults, qty 2 x ticket price and one ticket that says 2 kids, qty 2 x ticket price. The ticket templates can be customized by means of a template file (which isn’t customizable in the test drive because customizing the ticket template requires FTP access).

I have purchased Developer’s License but can’t access the services. Please look into this immediately. Thank You
