…Because apparently a solution was found but not shared, and I’d really like to spare my guests the hassle of filling out extra information, when all that’s needed is the primary registrant’s information for all the ticketholders in a party.

I’m surprised no one else has managed to figure it out since then. It seems like an obvious thing to offer for the seating chart, especially for events to which people register in big groups. I’d be willing to pay someone to code a solution!

I think it’s down to demand, we simply haven’t had enough requests for this sort of feature to be added.
