Plugin Update Fails

Today I noticed there is a new version of EE and Promotions but wehn I try to update from the WordPress admin area it returns:

An error occurred while updating Event Espresso: Download failed. Failed to connect to eventespresso.com port 80: Connection timed out

I’ve updated EE in the past and haven’t had this issue.

Any ideas?

Hi Dave,

That sounds like your server had an issue connecting to ours and the connection timed out.

If you try to update now does the same still happen or does it go through?

It worked later in the day. I was able to update the plugin.
