Hi pmoise,

May I ask what’s the phrase translated into French? We can add the translation to the GlotPress site here:

https://translate.eventespresso.com/projects/event-espresso-4/fr/event-espresso-fr_fr/?filters%5Boriginal_id%5D=22400

Then you could try exporting the .mo file to see if that translation will work for you.

Alternatively, can you post a link to where we can download your edited .po file to investigate further?

Hello,
The phrase should be:
Information importante: Cet évènement requiert une pré-approbation
This is the link to my .po file

Thanks

Pascal

Hi there,

There is currently a different translation for that string in your PO file:

‘Avis important: événements nécessitant une approbation préalable’

Is that not correct?

The reason that string is not currently being applied from your po/mo files is because the string has been marked as ‘fuzzy’ or in the latest version of POEdit ‘needs work’ – http://take.ms/N1cLa

The strings that show up orange in POEdit 2+ will not show up on the page. You’ll need to edit the PO file, and click the needs work button on that translation for it to show up, same with any other string that is orange as it means the translation string may need to be updated.

You can select all of the strings and press ctrl+U to toggle the needs work setting but note that they are fuzzy because the need checking.
