PLEASE HELP! Just tried to update to the new EE4 update and it all just crashed

Here is the message I have now at the top

“As part of the process for updating Event Espresso, your database also needs to be updated. Event Espresso is in COMPLETE MAINTENANCE MODE (both WordPress admin pages and front-end event registration pages are disabled) until you run the database update script. Visit the Maintenance Page to get started, it only takes a moment.”

Please help! It’s Canada Day and we’ve many ppl trying to book.

Hey there,

Sorry for the troubles. This actually doesn’t mean that Event Espresso crashed. You will need go to Event Espresso > Maintenance, and run the migration. Once that is completed, maintenance mode will be turned off, or you can toggle it under Event Espresso > Maintenance.
