I have 2 recurring events. For some reason, when I limit the API to 10 events, only 1 of the recurring events shows up. When I set the limit to 500, both events are there, even though at 10, both events should show as the second event overlaps the first. Is there a fix?

Hi,

Is this on iOS or Android?

What version of the app are you using?

Latest version from itunes, iOS. EE seems to cycle all the way through the first event before cycling through the 2nd event’s occurences.

How are you?

Sorry about that. It sounds like the API is outputting events and sorting them by the event_id field. There are other events within your recurring event start and end dates. So, for now, please use the api limits to accommodate for the dates in between. Another option is to search for the events by name. I will put in a request to see about grouping events by recurrence id in the JSON API.

Just curious. Do you have access to an Android device? If so, we just released a new version of our Event Espresso Android App that now works with our JSON API.

Thanks for getting back to me. No access to an android phone as everyone on the crew uses iphones. A search by name yields no results unless the limit in the API is set to exceed the total number of all events of both types.
