Permalink Issue conflicting with custom permalink in wordpress

Hi, for my blogs i have updated the the permalink in the settings/permalinks section to the following

the issue i have now is when i view a single event i get the following

how do i stop the blog part from showing up on my single events?

Hi rhumphrey,

That’s actually a WordPress site-wide setting where you added the /blog/ to the permalink structure, so it’s not really a conflict, it’s doing exactly what it’s supposed to do. What you can do instead is use a plugin to set the permalink structure for blog posts only, and set the default structure to use only %postname%. This will allow all other post types to use the default structure without the /blog/.
