Hi there Eric, I was able to see the error. I also noticed that you are on an older version of Event Espresso @ 4.2. The latest is 4.2.7: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-changelog/ Could you please backup your site and update to the latest version? Then let us know if the issue continues. — |

Lorenzo, I restored from my daily cpanel backup now all my events are gone or misconfigured. Can you please help me restoring and upgrading this plugin? It’s a little above my head… |
Sorry to hear that. You were able to restore from a backup which is good. Is the site now on a prior version of the database along with the prior version of EE 4.2? Are any events missing or are you seeing styling issues on the front end? — |
|
|
EE is Version 3.1.36.4.L The events look to be missing… |
Hi Eric, Your site was running 4.2.0 before: https://eventespresso.com/topic/pdf-not-printing/#post-106497 Did you backup through WordPress using a plugin before updating or through cpanel? We need the database to be restored to when the site was on EE 4.2.0. That should be the most recent backup. — |
|
Hi Eric, It might help to clarify that EE version 3.1.36.4.L is not an upgrade from 4.2. version 3.1.36.4.L doesn’t have a PDF feature, and the shortcodes it uses to display events are not the same as the shortcodes that 4.2 uses. For example, [ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR] is an Event Espresso 4-only shortcode. You will need to deactivate Event Espresso 3.1.36.4.L and then install the current version of Event Espresso 4.2.7 in order to get back on track. |

Hi Eric, Any updates on this? Thanks — |

Well I am lost… Here is what I have available in my EE account.. EE4 Events Calendar v3.0.0.reg Custom Templates Add-on v1.0 FYI..as you can tell I did not install or configure this but am just trying to manage it. I do not know how I had one version this morning then after a daily restore ended up with an older version of EE. Just trying to get it working again…Help! :-/ |
Hi Eric, The first step is to deactivate Event Espresso 3 Lite from your WordPress plugins admin page. Here is some documentation on how to manage WordPress plugins: http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugins_Screen#Manage_Plugins The second step will be re-installing Event Espresso 4 Core Regular v4.2.7.p. We have some documentation on how to download Event Espresso from your account page and install onto your website here: |
