Paypal Payment Page Not Showing

Howdy,

I’m using EE with Builder Itheme’s Iconic Green and hosted by Godaddy. When I try to test out a registration on a test event on my site alexleavens.com I don’t get a payment page for paypal. When I click complete registration it redirects me to the homepage.

My woocommerce paypal page works just fine.

I’ve tried undoing the SEO plugins. I’m not sure what to look for on the page settings section.

Any insight would be appreciated.

~Alex

Hi Alex,

It looks like the main registration page setting in Event Espresso>General Settings isn’t set correctly. When I go to register here:

http://alexleavens.com/event-registration/

and select an event, then try to confirm, it redirects me to:

http://alexleavens.com/?page_id=305

I would start with checking that setting and make sure it’s pointing to the page that has the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode.

It might also help if you go to your WordPress > Permalinks settings and save them so the rewrite rules get flushed.

Thank you that’s very helpful. I didn’t find any short code on the confirmation page if that’s where some should be. I’ll play with that a while.

Hi Alex,

The confirmation page and the registration page are one and the same. What it’s looking like to me is there may have been a second “event-registration” page that was trashed and it’s the one that is set as the main registration page in Event Espresso>General settings.

So what you might try for the sake of simplicity is try this:

1) You can start with a new page, with a name like “Classes” and put the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode on it.

2) Then go into Event Espresso>General settings under Page Settings and change the main registration page to be “Classes” and save.

3) Adjust the navigation menu accordingly in your WordPress menu manager.
