My PayPal button is no longer showing up. It was showing up and functioning perfectly earlier this morning and now it isn’t. I’m not sure why. Can you help? I am running WordPress 3.5.1 and Event Espresso Version 3.1.30.7P. My site is online and the registration page is http://www.bloomstraconsulting.ca/?page_id=1167&ee=1. It’s currently set to a testing mode using PayPal Sandbox.

Looks like you have the payment page redirecting directly to PayPal. Does the PayPal button show up is you turn of the redirect?

The only bypass I had in place was to skip the Payment Overview page. I went back to that area and set the bypass to “No” and the button still isn’t showing up. I tried deactivating the PayPal settings and reactivating them and that didn’t work either. Any other suggestions?

Have you tried removing the paypal button in the EE PayPal settings? You should be able to add your own PayPal button.

The image isn’t the problem. It does exist where I am linking to. I have tried referring to these two images and neither works.

Hi Erin,

i ran a quick test and the PayPal button is displaying, but it’s being pushed to the bottom of the page. In most cases, this is due to the active WP theme altering the default WordPress auto formatting function. What’s happening is each hidden input that gets sent to PayPal is getting a break tag appended to it, so each one starts a new line.

In most cases, the theme function that is causing this can be worked around by wrapping the main registration shortcode with a raw tag. Can you try wrapping the shortcode on the main registration page with the [raw] short tag?

It will look like this:
[raw][ESPRESSO_EVENTS][/raw]

Another observation: It looks like main registration page is being served as a cached file. This can cause problems with duplicate registrations, we recommend disabling caching for the pages that handle the registration and payment information. You can set pages to not be cached within your caching plugin’s advanced settings.

Fantastic. That worked. Thank you so much for the help! And thank you for the advice on the caching too. Have a great night.
