Hi Guys

I am still having the problem that I discussed here
https://eventespresso.com/topic/payment-overview-theme-broken/
I’ve just been lazy and haven’t really decided to get it fixed until now.
I’ve upgraded to the latest Event Espresso 3 – 3.1.36.5.P

Description of the problem
my theme gets broken on the payment overview page with the use of the NAB gateway when a payment is accepted. The payment goes through fine its just the theme seems to be affected. It appears that there is some css is loaded (the stylesheet from main theme and 1 or 2 other plugins) but my child theme css is not displayed.

To answer Dean’s question, yes it appears to be loading as HTTPS, the url is
https://transact.nab.com.au/live/directpost/authorise

The only plugin that I can think of that might affect things is Better WP security but I disabled this and still encountered the same problem.

any ideas?

thanks in advanced

Hi,

This is due to how NAB loads the thank-you page.

What’s happening is the thank-you page is being displayed from within NAB’s secure URL – https://transact.nab.com.au/live/directpost/authorise which is pulling the contents of your thank-you page content via a background request. As you don’t have an SSL cert for your domain the page will not load stripts from unsecure locations so you end up with no styling.

The way to fix this is to apply SSL to the site and secure the EE core pages, we have a guide posted here:

Great, that fixed the problem.

I’m not sure if it’s a recent addition to the plugin or wordpress but there is an Enable SSL checkbox for each page that I also needed to tick to get it working.

Thanks for your help.
