Hello –

WP version:4.0.1 http://www.ohioapt.org/event-registration?ee=9

Today, I made the upgrade from Event Espresso 3.1.22.2 to 3.1.35, the last update for my support license. Before the update, I had multiple payment methods (credit card, 2CC, invoice payments, etc), but now I only have the PayPal option. Am I missing something when updating?

Thank you for your time – I am new to Event Espresso and appreciate your help.

Hi jluther,

The current version of EE3 that you have installed is 3.1.35.L

L being the lite/free version available from the WP Plugins Repo. The lite version of Event Espresso only includes Paypal as a payment option.

The previous version of EE you had installed must have been 3.1.22.2.P as the premium version of EE includes multiple payment gateway options.

In order to download the latest version of the premium plugin you will need to purchase a license. You can find more details on our licenses available here:

Or revert back to 3.1.22.2.P if you made a backup before updating.

Thank you Tony. I reverted back to 3.1.22.2P. I was going to purchase the updated 3 license, but you are now only offering 4: https://eventespresso.com/pricing/.

An additional question –

There should be a default ‘Personal Information” section under “Registration Details”. How do I make this visible?

We do actually still offer EE3 license’s.

The pricing page has a EE3 and EE4 ‘mode’.

If you can only see EE4 licenses currently then you are on EE3 mode – http://take.ms/vZ24n

Clicking the highlighted band will switch to EE3 – http://take.ms/vZ24n

Regarding your Personal Info group question, that group should always be visible. The personal information group is required by Event Espresso for all events.

Can you go to Event Espresso -> Question Groups. Edit the Personal Information Question group. Can you see the 3 system questions, Fname, Lname & Email assigned to that group?

When you reverted back, did you revert to a backup of the database or just install 3.1.22.2.P again?

It’s under the “All Groups” category.

When I reverted back, I simply re-installed 3.1.22.P again.

This message appeared before purchasing the updated version of EE3: “With your previous package you had 2 support license keys included.This package only includes 1 support license.The additional support license key has been added to the package total.(+79.99) If you would rather not include the additional support license key and just keep what’s included with the package then you will have to Contact Support to work out which key you want removed from your profile.”

With the additional support license key, does my support license last 24 months?
