When a customer chooses the pay by check option, I would also like to show the paypal option in the details (just in case they decide to pay with paypal). See link below for what I’m speaking about.

How do I find the paypal link or how would I accomplish this?

Hi, that isn’t something that can be done out of the box. Custom coding would be needed.
There is another way for the attendee/registrant to pay via another option.
The Click Here to View Payment Methods link in this screenshot will load the additional payment methods:

This is also something that can be changed using a gettext filter or the quick localization plugin:
