Hello,

Is there a way to show more details on the receipts/emails for payment type? For example, if someone pays cash. Currently it looks like it just pulls ‘invoice.’

thank you

Hi Jaclyn,

Where do you currently see EE pulling invoice?

Thre is the [PAYMENT_GATEWAY] shortcode which parses to the gateway the user last selected within the registration. However I’m not sure if that’s what you are looking for.

Which email do you want to include this in?

Within the receipt each payment should pull in the gateway used to apply that payment, if cash this would be have been doen via the admin, so it would depend on which payment method was chosen when the payment was applied – http://take.ms/KA8qj

Hi Tony,

The message I’m specifically referencing is the one sent to the primary registrant after completing/applying payment via cash. The email has the payment gateway listed as invoice but it would be great if there was some way to list payment as cash or check. Is this possible? I added a screenshot for reference:

Ah ok, that’s the payment received message type.

Currently there isn’t a way to show the individual payment details within the emails. Whats happening is [PAYMENT_GATEWAY] is parsing the gateway set on the transaction (the gateway the user selected)

We have an open ticket to pull in the latest payment details, such as [LATEST_PAYMENT_STATUS], [LATEST_PAYMENT_GATEWAY] but its not currently available.
