Payment Gateway – Adding Credit Card Fee

I am running eventespresso (paid version) and wanted to find out if it is possible for me to split my event cost with that of my payment gateway.

 

My payment gateway charges 3.5% for processing credit cards, is there a way for me to add this to the total cost? Showing that this is the card processing fee? Or should I just make the amount payable higher?

Hi there,

It is usually against the terms of service of the payment processor to add a surcharge in this way. You could try setting two ticket prices (one for online payments, one offline) though.
