Some of our events will happen on multiple dates, and sometimes multiple times, or an event might occur at multiple times in a given day. We looked at the Recurring Events Dropdown template…but it seems like it is a little cluncky. We need advice on how to display these multiples effectively, perhaps even with a little dropdown calendar. Thank you for your help.

Hi there,
We don’t have the option for a drop-down calendar to display the events currently and the best way to display them will depend on how you want to set up your events.
So, to manage your events are you creating multiple datetimes within a single event or creating multiple instances, or have you not started creating events yet?
For a single event, how many different dates and or times would you have?

Yes – we will be creating multiple datetimes within a single event. These will range from a few too many. What is the best way to set this up if there is no drop-down calendar display?

There’s a setting in Event Espresso > Events > Templates, its name is “Show Date & Time Filter?”. You can set that option to “Maybe show date and time filter”, then set the threshold number to whichever value you feel is the best (up to 10!). The save. That will make it so a dropdown of dates appear that can be checked to view the ticket options.
