Hi,
I’m setting up my event and I have a standard ticket option, and I would like some who purchase 1 ticket to be able to register a maximum of two people per 1 standard ticket.
How do I make this happen?

Hi Mike,
Do you need to track registrations for each person within your event?
There’s a 1-1 relationship with tickets and registrations s you can’t have users select 1 ticket but register 2 people with EE and also both the individual registrations.
You can set min and max limits on individual tickets, so you could set a max ticket qty of 2 on a ticket – http://take.ms/IOFE0
Then when registering on a max of 2 of that ticket can be selected – http://take.ms/kepRs
You then set at least the ‘Personal information’ question group active on ‘Additional Registrants’ within the event – http://take.ms/kTr6C
EE will now request details for any tickets that are selected. If you also set a ‘min qty’ of 2 the user can only select 2 of that ticket and EE will request details for both on any registration.
The other option is to create a custom question group that has all of the questions you want to ask the additional person and assigning that to the Primary Registrant question groups. However the additional person will not be considered a registration that way and your ‘sold’ values will not match the amount of actual attendees.
