Hello Eventespresso men/women,
I have a hand full of questions:
- Is it possible to use the_excerpt instead of using the option without editing scripts?
- Is it possible to present category pages (and is there a shortcode for these?
- is it possible to have region pages and present these by shortcode?
- Will there be Google maps integration soon like there is in events-manager?
- Is it possible to include links to categories, venues and/or regions in the events by using templates?
- Is the use of templates only restricted to the developer license, or also in the other two?
- Recurring events (with manual dates) seems not to be working in your test drive. No events are created, only errors(see below) Does this option work???

No because events are not posts.
Is it possible to present category pages (and is there a shortcode for these?
Yes, you can have category-specific event lists. If you’re working on the test drive, you should be able to go to the Help/Support tab for a list of shortcodes.

There are venue shortcodes that can list events by venue, or you can create a category for the location and display them that way.
Will there be Google maps integration soon like there is in events-manager?
Google Maps is already integrated into the Venue Manager system.
Is it possible to include links to categories, venues and/or regions in the events by using templates?
Not sure what you’re asking. You can edit the templates to include those or you can add links within the event description.

No, anyone can customize the display templates, but you assume responsibility for keeping them up to date and we cannot provide support for custom templates.

This was fixed in a recent update, we may not have updated the test drive site yet. Thanks for reporting it!
