Wordpress: 3.5.1.

Event Expresso Version 3.1.33.2

Event Expresso Calendar: Version 2.0.6

This is a updated version to an older installation.

Registration page: http://www.behindeverybride.com/events/

When I add Question Groups to an event, nothing is int the excel file when I download it. Nothing in the column headers or in the body from the users input. I do see it when I just have the default personal information questions available but when I add other Question Group, I get nothing.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi Jeff,

Do you know about which version Event Espresso was updated from? Can you send a database dump of the wp_events tables to support@ this domain so we can investigate? If not can you send temporary admin credentials via the form on the contact page:

Hi Jeff,

You might try a different application to open up the export. I went into the admin and pulled up the older event and the export opened up just fine in Numbers (macosx).

Any CSV viewing application should be fine. This is one someone recommended in the forums in the past:

I’ll give it a shot but I need to make sure it exports fine in excel. In open office it is not showing anything. Any suggestion on viewing an excel file?

Thanks!

Hi Jeff,

Which event’s attendee list are you exporting?

Hi Josh, I’m exporting the Bridal Bash which should have one attending.

Thanks for you help!

Hi Jeff,

I exported the bridal bash and the one attendee and all the details are there in the export file, which opens up as expected when I open it in Numbers (I’m on a mac and do not have excel installed). It might be an issue with Excel’s settings or the version of Excel that you are using where there’s a formatting conflict.

You could try the CSV download (it’s an icon that’s between the excel and email icon under “Actions” and open it up in excel or an alternative csv viewer application. The CSV will not include the formatting that the .xls export has, which may be the issue here.

Thanks, it’s working for me. I must have had an issue with the program that was opening it up.
