Hi, I am getting the ‘Nothing in your event queue’ error on http://ørc.dk/oerc-2015-tilmelding/ . I have tried everything i could think of and read on this forum: What can I do? This error has been there a lot of time, and it’s beginning to be pretty expensive. Thanks

Hi Alexander, thanks for sharing your troubleshooting steps. Who is your web host and have you also tested with only Event Espresso running? I ask as last week, a member shared that an old contact form plugin was causing issues during registration checkout. They switched to an updated contact form plugin to resolve this issue. — |

Hi Lorenzo, My webhost is Meebox.net – however i’m also running with Cloudflare. CloudFlare is set to CDN only, so there’s no caching there. I forgot to mention that all plugins (except EE) are already disabled. This is getting very frustrating. |
Alright, so at this point you are on WordPress defaults and it isn’t working. Did you have another site on this host that you can load up Event Espresso on to test? If it fails there, then there may be some restrictions on the server possibly via Mod security or a limitation on PHP sessions. — |

Hi Lorenzo, I just fired it up here: http://satisphy.com/events/test/ |
Hi, it is now working on your original site. What changes did you make? — |

Hi Lorenzo, Could it be because i disabled compression in cPanel? Thanks |
Hi, gzip should be fine and I’m not sure if that is what you are referring to. Does it break when compression is turned back on? Is a screenshot available for that specific area of Cpanel? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots — |

Hi Lorenzo, Gzip is back on and it’s still working. Have no idea what fixed it then. Went into CloudFlare, put it in dev mode and turned it back on. Couldn’t be that? How can i speed optimize the site, if I can’t use cache? Thanks |
Hi, you can use caching via a caching plugin or service but Event Espresso pages should be excluded: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/setup-nocache-exclusion-rules-event-espresso/ Similar to an online purchase in a store, registration checkout is a dynamic process so caching it will break Event Espresso’s registration process. Cloudflare’s development mode runs for a few hours so I would set reminder to check again in a few hours. If that is the cause, then you may want to reduce the level of caching via Cloudflare. For example, try CDN only mode and work up from there. — |

Hello, I have the same problem “Nothing in your event queue”. Event Espresso 4.6.23, everything worked well before WordPress 4.2 update. I am not using the CDN just one shared hosting server. Please help, registrations were live and now we are receiving many complaints from attendees. |
