Not showing in WordPress menu

I have installed the plugin and it does not show in the WordPress menu. I have deactivated all other plugins and used a standard theme, but it still does not show.

Can you give us more information about what you did? Is this a fresh install EE on your site? or you have previous version installed and you just uninstall, delete and upload newer version?

I can confirm that the plugin works without a hitch when I install it on a brand-new test site.

But upon reinstalling it on our cloned copy of the site, the issue kept persisting, which does lead us in the direction of a potential conflict somewhere on the site.

To break down, we’ve tested;

Multiple PHP/WP versions.
Re-installing the plugin on the cloned site.
Isolation test on a default theme.
Reset site permissions.
No fatal/max php errors in logs
With WP-Debug enabled, we do get the following error message,
Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property EE_Secondary_Table::$_fk_on_table is deprecated in /www/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/db_models/helpers/EE_Secondary_Table.php on line 25
Site is completely malware free

Doing a bit more digging, I’ve come across a support thread from the Event Espresso team.

In the guide, their team suggests going to /wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_maintenance_settings&action=data_reset but upon testing we will see this page.

This thread doesn’t look to have been resolved yet, but their issue lines up exactly with ours.

From here, I’d recommend getting in touch with the Events Espresso team and providing them access to take a closer look.

They will be the best point of contact to help narrow this one down for us.

Were you able to follow the thread and able to browse your domain+ /wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_maintenance_settings&action=data_reset If you did, please Click that ‘Reset Event Espresso Capabilities’ button. Did it work after you click it?

If not, please send your log-in detail?
