Not receiving 'Registration Approved' email

My ‘Registration Approved’ emails are going to an email address put in to settings by the developer. I since changed the email address is General Settings but the ‘Registration Approved’ emails are still going to the old address. I’ve also checked that my current email is that in my EE account. Please help?

Hi Tara,

By default EE is set to use the event author email, that’s the email address of which evet user account is set as the event author (it will be the user that created the account unless changed).

Can you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default messages templates -> Registration Approved -> Event admin

(Be sure you are editing the correct ‘context’, read how to work with contexts here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/messages-system-working-with-message-contexts/)

The ‘To’ field will likely be set to [EVENT_AUTHOR_EMAIL]http://take.ms/AOUpA

Change that to [CO_EMAIL] to tell EE to use the address set within Event Espresso -> General Settings.

You’ll likely want to do that same change for any other message type that has the ‘Event Author’ context active (if the link is blue it is active, grey its not – http://take.ms/XKsl8)

I’ve also checked that my current email is that in my EE account

If you mean your account here on ee.com, that’s actually completely separate and has no effect on your site, but nice try 😉
