Not all tickets showing in users account

I have a booking site using multiple event registration and the ticketing add on. I have found that the visitor can purchase multiple tickets and they are all paid and emailed to them, but when they log in to their account they don’t see all of the tickets. It seems that the primary registrants ticket is not showing in the list.

Hi there,

Is the user entering details that match their WP User account details into the personal information section?

Yes, they enter their personal details and then add ‘say 5 tickets’ they pay for 5 tickets and receive the notifications and tickets.

How would I get round this?

That order sounds different from the default EE4 registrations.

You mean they select 5 tickets and then input their details and pay?

Whilst they may be adding their details into the personal information section, do those details match the first name, last name and email of the user account they are currently logged into exactly?

Yes, the primary registrant is listed in the dashboard along with 4 other tickets they have purchased. The receive the tickets and pay for all 5 but they only see 4 tickets in their account when they login using the primary registrants details

Hmm, can I take a look at the registrations in the admin?

If so you can send temporary login details using this form:

Ok, the problem is that Registration number 557 is using a different email, which means that registration was not linked to the users EE Contact.

If you click on that registration and view the contact details on the right you’ll notice its missing .uk from the email and the other details for the contact don’t show (compare with one of the other registrations and you’ll see).

Do you require personal information for all attendees when registering?

Would this be the reason why it does not show in his main account under his primary registration?

Each person has to register for an account first and these details become the first attendee. I would prefer that they first register and then add the first attendee so that the person signed up does not have to be an attendee.

You mean in the my events section? If so, yes.

When you register onto an event EE looks for an EE Contact using the first name last name and email address and assigns the registration you made to that contact.
If using the WP user integration add-on it links your EE Contact with your WP user account, ut that only works if you register with details that match your WP user account details exactly.

Each person has to register for an account first and these details become the first attendee. I would prefer that they first register and then add the first attendee so that the person signed up does not have to be an attendee.

You can’t use the My Events section (link registrations with the user account) if the details don’t match, so currently that isn’t possible.

Is there a work around this. I want people to be able to register and then add and buy tickets.

I.e. if the person registering is not attending they can buy tickets for other people and enter their details

Not without custom development, the add-on was designed to link you to your registrations but that doesn’t include registrations you’ve made on behalf of another.

If the logged in user is set as the primary registrant there is a way to force the my events section to display all of the registrations in each group but I don’t think that would work for you either?
