Hi there,
I’m testing the payments for my site and I can only choose between the 3 countries I have on ee4. US, Canada & Brazil (I had to add the pack because all of the events I am selling are in Brazil). My clients are from all over the world so how would they make their payment????? The last version of ee4 had an option where you can manually add a state/country not on the list. This is crucial for me, please help.

Hi Smejia, I saw your comment on our blog post.
We are already working on an update for that feature and it will be made available in an upcoming maintenance release of Event Espresso 4.6.x.
I’ll update this support post once it is available.

Hi, the fix for this issue did not pass testing and was returned to the development team so they can correct some issues.

OK, please keep me updated. This wouldn’t be an issue if I were offering local events, but I’m creating a booking engine for special events and tours for people visiting Rio, so they can be from anywhere. It would be a lot easier for people to manually enter their information instead of drop downs for the state and country options.

Hi there,
There is still work being done on the feature that allows adding a new state into the state and country select boxes. In the meantime you can use the filter that was added in Event Espresso 4.6.7.p that allows for changing the State and Country billing fields into text field inputs. Here is the code that you can add to your functions.php file or into a custom snippets plugin that will make it happen:
