Limiting number of checkboxes to choose

Client wants have a question that has 9 options (checkboxes) but only allow attendee to pick 5 from the list – is there a way of setting this up?

Hi Tim,

Event Espresso doesn’t have a feature that will limit checkbox selections out of the box.

This is something where you or a developer could add some specific jQuery code to the registration page templates to make it so the checkboxes get disabled after x number of checkboxes are selected. Here is a link to a related stackExchange thread:
