No pre-approval but invoice payment

I installed a demo Version on
After filling out the Registration form I come to the payment page, where I can download the invoice. That’s all fine and the way it should be.
Now I created an event on our regular page
Here, after filling out the Registration, I get to a page where it says “Important Notice: Events Requiring Pre-Approval” and that no payment is required at this time.
But I want to show the invoice and the request to pay.

Hi there,

You can change the event on your site so its Default Registration Status is Pending Payment and it will then allow payment.

Thanks for the quick reply! We set the default reg status to approved so that each registration decreases the number of available tickets.
Our problem was that the default reg status in the event itself was still on not-approved.
