Good Afternoon, We have all of a sudden stop recieving emails confirming we have registered for our events on NaplesInterAgency.com. We have tested it using differnt emails, and also have checked our spam the notifiactions have not been recieved. We did change our server a while back but since then we have had events which we have recieved the notifiactions for, so we have ruled that out as being the issue as well. Please assist, Thank you |
Hi WBN, If you go to test an email from one of the email Message template editors, do you receive the test? If so, it may help to go to Event Espresso > Messages > Message Settings and set the the option for emails to be sent on the same request. If not, can you verify whether *other* emails (like a WordPress password reset email) get sent from your site? You can install this plugin to verify whether the mail actually gets sent or not: In most cases, setting up a third party service to deliver email will resolve email delivery issues. The built-in mail servers (especially those that are used for shared hosting accounts) can be unreliable. We recommend using a service like Mandrill, Postmark, or any of the other services listed in our documentation for sending transactional email. More info here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/postmark-app-mandrill-transactional-email-handling-services/ Alternatively, you could also use a gmail account and configure a plugin like the WP Mail SMTP plugin to send the emails. |

Under the Events Espresso Menu, We don’t have the option for Messages. We have the following… General Settings, Event Overview, Venue Manager, Questions. Question Groups, Categories, Calendar Settings, Promotional Codes, Email Manager, Template Settings, Payment Settings, System Status. under Email Manager is where our Event Confirmation email is set up. There is not a way to send a test from the backend that we can see. |
I see, you’re still on Event Espresso 3. You can use this plugin to test your WordPress site’s ability to send emails: |

I recieved the test email. |
OK, that’s good to know. The next thing you could do is check this troubleshooting information for Event Espresso 3 emails: Then, you install this plugin: |

the attendee gets logged and I can resend the confirmation, and if I click into their data I am able to see their email. I tested it with different setting it seems that when the Fancy Heading settings is set to yes they don’t send but when they are set to no they do get sent. Which would be fine except I am not crazy about it saying that the email is from wordpress@napleinteragency.com |
You can change the “From” field in the email by using this plugin: |

Thank you. |
