No Attendee Record found — for Event although Attendees were added.

I created attendees in two ways.
1) Via website for the event.
2) Manually via Attendee Report — “Add New Attendee”
In both cases when I select “Event overview” – It increased the number of attendees in the column “Attendees’ e.g 14/30 (which you would assume 14 out of 30 places are filled.

PROBLEM IS– When I select either “attendees” or click on the button “view Attendees” for the event – then it display “NO RECORDS FOUND” ( i.e. ZERO ATTENDEES)

Please advise how to resolve this problem. — Need help urgently

Hi,

Within the Attendees section check there is nothing input within the ‘Live Search Field’ – (http://take.ms/zJTqh)

There could be whitespace within that field which then EE searches for when you are within the Attendee list causing no attendees to be shown.

Good Day Tony,
Thank you for your prompt reply. I can confirm that there are NO entries/text in the ‘Live Search Field’ searching on ‘Attendees’

When I enter on the ‘Attendees’ field of the event. Then under the field ‘Filter’ – I see Event – All Event (1) — (which makes sense)
just below this field, there is a field ‘Attendees’ — with ‘All Attendees ()’ — This give me the suspicion that there are ZERO Attendees () and that this is not a filter issue.

I just bought my Espresso “Event Registration Software for WordPress (EE3B) Paid: 179.95 Support Period” — but DID NOT receive any ‘Site Licence Key’ —
Could that possibly be the problem that the program think I am not registered and therefore I only have access to limited functionality?

Regards,
Gert

Hi Gert,

Are you viewing all attendees or only attendees for this specific event?

Your support license key can be found here:

Hi Lorenzo,
Thank you. I was referring to attendees on a specific event. However I also looked at all events and it also display ‘All Attendees ()’ – Zero attendees (it is a test system – not operational)

Thank you for the registration information –
When I add another booking I noticed the message below: – Does it make sense and could that cause the problem?

Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in /home/brainway/public_html/site/wp-content/plugins/espresso-members.1.9/member_functions.php on line 182 and defined in /home/brainway/public_html/site/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1147

Gert

Hi Gert,

Yes it does.

The current version of Espresso Members you are using on that site is outdated and will not match the current version of Event Espresso.

You’ll need to update that plugin in order to use it.

Which EE plugins and versions of those plugins are you currently running?

It display two versions of ‘Event Espresso’

2) Version 3.1.36.4.P (believe this is active – has a deactivate option)
Should I update to version 3.1.36.5 ? Please advise how I update to a new version. – I entered my registration details already.

Hi Gert,

You can update to the latest version of Event Espresso by following this guide:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/updating-event-espresso/

You will also need to update the Event Espresso add-ons that are installed as well because they are not compatible with the current version of Event Espresso. All of the current software can be downloaded from your account page. You can delete the older Version 3.1.21.P as that’s not needed on your site.

Hi Josh,

Thank you. I deleted the older Version 3.1.21.P – The Members Addon – was also Deactivated.
1) I downloaded version 3.1.36.5.P — When I upload — it says ‘Plugin install failed’. – Destination folder already exists’ — I assume if I deactivate and delete v3.1.36.4.P — and Then upload the new version then I will loose all my data/events on the current version? — Please advise how I can upgrade without loosing my data/events.

2) – Under “EE3” Downloads on your website – I see no plugin that looks like “Event Espresso – Members Addon – v1.9”- please advise where I can find this plugin.
When I try to activate the “Members Addon” plugin – it gives the message below –
“Fatal error: Call to undefined function event_espresso_run_install() in /home/brainway/public_html/site/wp-content/plugins/espresso-members.1.9/espresso-members.php on line 52”
I am fine with the “Members Addon” plugin being inactive – if we somehow can RESOLVE TO view the Attendee Names / DETAILS.
Still displaying All Attendees () — (Zero – Although it shows in the column Attendees “17/30”
Regards,
Gert

Hello,

You would need to remove or relocate the existing Event Espresso plugin folder before trying to install the new version.

The WP Members addon is the new WP User Integration addon in your account:
