Hi,

I just bought the new promotions add on and was wondering how to make the heart icon in the “accepted message” as shown in the add on video done by Garth. Please help.

Thanks,
Cindra

Also, my plugin looks like this http://www.artnook.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Screen-Shot-2015-09-09-at-9.24.59-AM.png

Please help me to make it look like advertised.

Hi Cindra,

There are some examples on this page:

Hey Lorenzo,

Thanks for the link but it seems as though, the approved pop up isn’t even coming up when I put the correct promo code in. Is this because we turned off the green notifications in my website?

Hi Cindra,

We’ll need to turn those back on since they are part of the success messages. This would also restore those shown for Stripe.

Hi,

Your CSS is hiding all
tags:

.page-id-350 div>br {
    display: none;
}

To restore it add the following CSS (this will affect checkout pages only):

#ee-single-page-checkout-dv br {
display:block !important;
}

That CSS can be added to your themes style.css, though in order to preserve the CSS through theme updates we recommend adding it to either: a child themes style.css, your themes CSS options if it has any, or a plugin such as My Custom CSS (or any other Custom CSS plugin).

Hi Dean,

My custom coding exists in these locations:
/wp-content/plugins/site-specific-plugin-artnookorg.php
/wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates

The styling changes exist here:
http://www.artnook.org/wp-admin/themes.php?page=simple-custom-css.php

Where should the code you provided go? If it is in the site specific plugin, can it just go at the bottom of this document? http://www.artnook.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Screen-Shot-2015-09-10-at-9.36.29-AM.png

Hi,

Please do not make any changes as you have an open support token which is in progress. I’ll also follow up with you on this.

Also, I am wanting to see how the promotion banner would look for the non-code promotions. I think it is not showing up because of the custom work we have done. Lorenzo, please help.

“How Non-Code Promotions* are advertised and displayed above the Ticket Selector.”

Hi, the pop-up banner is not showing because of prior work that you approved of. If you are wanting to reverse that change, then let us know and we’ll let you know where to make the changes.

Screenshots and links would also be helpful.

Yes. I would like to see what that would look like so please tell me what changes I need to make.

Below is a screen shot of the promotion I have created and the banner should then be shown in the events boxes on this page http://www.artnook.org/summer-camp-classes/

Hi, login to your WP dashboard and then go to My Custom CSS:

Then look for this CSS entry and remove ONLY this one and then scroll down to the end of the page and click to save changes:

/* Turn off success notices */
#espresso-ajax-notices-success {
display: none !important;
}

Ok. I did this and it is now taking the discount off automatically but there is still no banner above the ticket selector as it says here http://www.artnook.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Screen-Shot-2015-09-11-at-2.51.20-PM.png

Hi, your web browser may still have a cached version (local version) of the old CSS file.

Try pressing CMD + r on your keyboard to load the newest CSS file.

I am guessing you mean command + R. Did it and it changed nothing. I think the issue lies in the fact that the ticket selector is within the customized events boxes that we made. Could this be the issue?

Hi, what happens if you select another option than the default option and then save and then go back and switch it to your preferred option?

Do you then see them being displayed for events which have a promotion that does not use a discount code?
