New Event Field Issues…

Good Morning,

When adding a new event, I typically create multiple tickets for the event’s one DateTime. Those are almost always variations on pricing based upon occupancy/included services, with the dates/times being the same (Sales Starting/Sales Ending times…) between all of them. I would like to be able to easily copy said date/times between them. However, the shortcut keys (CMD+C / CMD+V on the MAC) do not work. I can highlight the fields in question and then use the context popup menu to do the copy and paste, but it would be a lot easier if the shortcut keys worked there.

Is there a specific reason that this functionality is disabled, or is this something that could be implemented?

Thanks,
Tim

Well no sooner did I post this message I found the duplicate ticket icon…so that certainly helps and makes my question way less important…

Hi Tim,

May I ask which browser are you using when you try the copy/paste using the shortcut keys? The reason I ask is because I can copy/paste using shortcut keys using Firefox and Chrome, but not Safari.

This could be an issue with the way the jQuery UI plugin is used there (where it would only be affected in Safari). This may be something we can fix, but truth be told the next generation of the ticket editor isn’t going to be using jQueryUI for its date/time picker fields.

In the meantime can you use either Chrome or Firefox?
