I have created some test events to try to program. I am new to event scheduling

Every event I create says it is closed and I do not know how to open it?

The registration is suppost to start today for an event Fri 28th so it should not be closed.

Hi,

Most likely is the dates are not set right for some reason. Make sure that the registration start date is today (just for testing purposes), the other dates can be any point after that.

Also in the WordPress Settings > General, make sure that your timezone is set to your nearest city rather than a UTC timezone. (e.g instead of UTC 0, set it as London)

I have checked my wordpress time zone and it says it is Local, Toronto which is correct. I checked the setting in Event espresso and it also says the correct time.

I have made sure it is registration starts yesterday and when I open it up it says today so it must change every day. I do not know what else to do.

Help please

You posted your login in a public forum. I’ve removed them.

Please go ahead and change your password. Then send your temporary login information securely through this link:

https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

The submit button appears once the form has been filled out. Be sure to select yes for the last question.

Thank you thank you – I have deleted that other program so it should not do that again. Very strange but awesome you worked it out.

Thanks again

This issue turned out to be a conflict with the Events Planner plugin.
