Need to view forum response but level of support license does not allow

Hello,
I signed up for an EE account a couple of months ago. I now have a problem that (according to EE’s support person) requires that I read this information:
https://eventespresso.com/wiki/espresso-sslhttps/
Because my credit card processing via Authorize.net and Powerpay requires that my site have a SSL certificate. Which I purchased via Bluehost but can’t activate because I can’t edit the url address on the EE pages.

Here’s the big catch, the EE support page listed above does not display the answer to the question. I am confused about how to proceed. I see that I can pay an additional $50 for a EE 4 personal support license. Isn’t that what I already purchased?

What do you suggest I do?

Hi Lisa,

I’m not seeing a support license on this account so you may have registered & purchased under a different account.

Regarding the SSL, this is not specific to Event Espresso.

When its setup correctly, any page that is available through http should also be available through https.

OK Lorenzo. How do I find the account that has the support license? I have EE 4.

When you registered & purchased, you would have received an email with that information.

If you aren’t sure, please send an email with to the address below with the email accounts that you may have used and we can look it up:

Hi Lisa, is it this account: https://eventespresso.com/users/lsager/?
Are you using the WordPress HTTPS plugin or Better WP Security? You shouldn’t need to edit the url of the EE critical pages, just use one of those plugins to force https on the EE pages.

Lorenzo & Sidney,
As it turns out the account was under my personal email address. So I was finally able to login and access the article I needed. I installed the WP HTTPS plugin, set Force SQL Exclusively and set the EE Critical pages (registration checkout, transactions, return and thank you to Secure Post. (Should I set Secure Child Post as well?) I set up a registration and tested it. It seems to be working. THANKS!
Lisa
