I have a client getting payments via paypal for events. When she looks at the attendee list this person is not there at all. We have a plugin called mail log recording all mail generated by the website and the person’s email isn’t showing up there either.
So the question is how is it that someone is able to pay for an event via paypal but not show up in the registration at all? Have you seen this before This is happening randomly. I’ve held off on contacting you until this happened multiple times and now it has.
They were able to contact one person and they said the registration seemed to be fine.

Is the site in question using PayPal Express or PayPal Standard? If the latter, you should switch to use the PayPal Express payment method, which can use the same PayPal account that you’re using now. More info here:
Server caching could potentially cause some related issues, although you most likely would have gotten reports of errors during checkout if caching were causing problems. Nonetheless, we recommend disabling caching for Event Espresso’s checkout pages, and have some documentation that shows how:
