Multiple Registrations with same email address, do you receive multiple email?

Hello,

I am registering 15-20 people for a class with the same email address. My question is if we then send out an E.E email to that session will this person receive 15-20 emails since there email was used each time registering these clients?

Any insight would be great appreciated. Thank you!

Hello,

It looks like your site is using Event Espresso 3. So in this case, if you fill out a registration form for each attendee, one email will go out for each attendee. If you fill out one registration form and select 15 or more tickets, it will send one email to the primary attendee, no other emails.

Based on the information you give, that’s the general rule of thumb. Please note that there can be variations to the above (like if you have several different ticket types within one event and use Multi Event Registration)

Thank you for your quick response Josh!

I am unfamiliar with tickets, can you elaborate?

I am wondering if I registered 15-120 different attendees but inputted the same email address for each of them would that email address get the same email sent out per attendee or would it only send 1 email to the email address of all 15-20 attendees?

One way to help explain what happens with the emails is when you input an email address, it should send out an email. So if you input an email address one time into one email field, there’s one email sent. If you input an email address into many email fields, many emails are sent.
