Multiple Event Registration + Volume Disounts in EE3

Hi there,

I’m trying to run a promotion for my events where the more my attendees buy, the more they save. For instance:

– buy 1 event, get 15% off.
– buy 2 events, get 20% off.
– buy 3 events, get 25% off.
– buy 4 events, get 30% off.

All events are in the same category. All events are also recurring, and I would like to enable my attendees to pick the date they prefer for each event.

Here’s what I have tried:

– Installed the Multiple Event Registration Addon
– Installed the Volume Discount Addon

Volumne discounts seems to be limited to 1 volume discount only (i.e. purchase 1 and get 15% off only). Is there a workaround for this limitation to add the other 3, or is there another way I could achieve what I’m looking for?

Oh also – I would like any promo code used, dollar amount of discount applied, and the total amount paid to show up in my receipts and confirmation emails.

Hi Melody,

EE3 doesn’t support multiple discounts like that. It is something we are considering for EE4 but that hasn’t been decided on/implemented as yet.

Regarding the invoice/receipt and the emails, you can add the cost of the registration to the email via the [cost] email tag (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/custom-email-tags/).

The other data would have to be custom developed as that information isn’t immediately available in the plugin.
