I am working on a site that will offer a once a month course. The course will offer a class on Saturday and a class on Sunday. These classes will be different, at different times, with different prices with a limit of 25 people per class.

However, we would like to for people to be able to register for either Saturday or Sunday, or Register for both days. No matter if they register for one day or two days, the seating is always limited at 25.

How do I accomplish this in EE4.

Hi, here is how I would create the event:

http://cl.ly/142n1t0z2j29/Screen%20Recording%202016-02-02%20at%2012.18%20PM.mov

Create two datetimes and a datetime is when an event occurs. Then you are creating three ticket options and assigning the ticket options.

One for access to Saturday, one for access to Sunday, and one for both days.

Since there is a limit of 25 on Saturday and 25 for Sunday, then once those are reached, then no more registrations will be allowed.

Thank you so much, Lorenzo! I have another question. This class is a recurring event that happens every month. Is there anyway to automate that? I’m finding it difficult for my client to set up multiple day times with the corresponding three different tickets for each class.

Hello,

You could use the duplicate option in the top area of the event editor to quickly create similar events but you would need to update the date and times.

It looks like this:

Lorenzo, I can’t tell you how much help you’ve been to me. Thank you thank you thank you!

If it’s not too much trouble, I’d like to ask one more question. I have my event listings here: http://canadianfirearmsafety.com/courses/

And it works fine, but the problem I have is that the title and description of each event is the same. I’d like to be able to maybe hide the description and show the date of the events. Is that possible? I’m trying to make this as easy as possible for my clients.

Thanks again!

Hello,

There is a template option available that can be used to show or hide content.

Login to your WP dashboard and go to Event Espresso –> Events –> Templates. Then look for the event list pages and adjust the settings for description to none and then datetimes to yes like this:

Let us know if you would still like to additional elements on the page and we’ll be able to share some CSS to take care of that.

Thanks

Lorenzo
