move a registration to another date

Is there any way to move a registration from one event to another event on another day, so we don’t actually have to cancel the initial registration? This would obviously need to decrement and add sold tickets for the events.

Hi David,

We currently do not have functionality to move a registration from one event to another. You would need to set the initial registration to cancelled and create another on the new date (you can do this within the admin or from the front-end)

Cancelling a registration will remove that registration from the Sold values, however if the event status is sold out currently then you may also need to update the event to force EE to recalculate.
