Modifying the archive layout that is generated from a shortcode

Hello!

I’m successfully able to edit and modify the archive-espresso_events.php layout by copying it to my themes directory.

This effects the main events archive, everything looks great.

When I apply a shortcode to a page, such as [ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=”ticketed-event”], the layout is not effected by what I did to the archive.

Is there some sort of conditional I can put on the page template, or another template to copy over to make these look how I would like?

Thanks so much!

Hi Ty,

You could copy over the loop-espresso_events.php and/or content-espresso_events-shortcode.php templates to your theme, then make your changes there. The loop template calls in the content/shortcode template so, as an example, you could just copy over the loop template and call in a completely different template file.
