Mobile Event Calendars is just featured image and no text

I currently am using the shortcode…[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR cal_view=month] for my calendar of events at https://www.creativegrainstudio.com/calendar-registration/.
On mobile it only shows a small feature image. How do I show the event title, too? If that’s not feasible, how do I make it switch to a mobile friendly view?

Hi there,

The documentation shows a feasible option:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/events-calendar-add-on/#how_to_calendar_list_on_small_screens

Otherwise you can override the calendar CSS to display the text, but you’ll find that there will not be enough room to display the text.

Josh,
I installed the plug-in and tried every variation of shortcode. Nothing will show just a list or grid of events on mobile. It either shows giant featured images with information in a row that you have to tap on to see the info or medium sized featured images you have to tap to see the title.

Why can’t I simply just see a calendar of events on mobile? My client is ready to scrap the site if the mobile doesn’t look better soon.

Hi there,

May I ask, what’s the URL of the page, and currently what do you have set up for shortcodes? Please be specific.

The original (and current live page) is: https://www.creativegrainstudio.com/calendar-registration/

The shortcode for that is:
[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR cal_view=month]

The one I’m testing the shortcodes you suggested is:
https://www.creativegrainstudio.com/calendar-registration-copy/

Basically, if the dekstop version could look like the way it currently is and the mobile version just had dates and event titles, I think we’d be OK.

It looks like you have some issues with shortcodes wrapped in pre tags and a few stray visual composer tags. Can you be sure to switch to text mode and make sure the shortcodes are not wrapped within pre tags?
