Hey guys, Im ordering priority support. But creating this post for record. We are using the Mobile App on Ipad and the App worked for about 30 minutes,, and then all of a sudden during the testing we got the error “the data could not be read because it’s not in the correct format.

Our current permalinks setting is the /%category%/%postname%/

I checked WP Debug and it is set to false.

Again, please note, we created a test event and set the test event to private, and then I did registrations test using my own seperate emails not assoicatied with our websie.

Printed the tickets and scaneed them to check in and check out. and the app worked.

But then we went to do another test and now everything we try to do on the EE Mobile App on Ipad we get the error.. “The date could not be read it is in wrong format”

Josh should have my server details and access to the website backend already from the other priority support ticket that is open.

Camps start tomorrow. Thanks

Priority Support Form has been submitted for this issue.

I included my phone number and my skype handle on the priority support form so you can contact me to go over the stuff or screenshare if needed.

If we have to change the permalinks,, please let me know because I have a staging website that we will be transferring over at the end of this week and I will need to let my developer know what we change the permalinks too.

However, I dont think the permalinks are the issue becuase the app worked for 30 minutes before it started giving us that error.

*** IMPORTANT ***
After we get this to work, we want to know how we can have the attendees phone numbers show up on the app because the whole idea was to be able to see the attendees information on the mobile app instead of having to print out registrations. Thanks

*** Helpful Info ***
Also now I am getting notifications from JetPack saying that my login page is locked out and I have to use their link to access my login page each time.

And the event espresso App has the error on it before we ever even login.. So basically as soon as we OPEN THE MOBILE APP, we see the “ERROR that the data is not correct” before we even login.

We can see our logo on the app since we added it using the custom addon plugin but it wont let us login now.

Now we are trying the backup plan of using the barcode scanner addon

ANd of course, we are getting an error.

It says, the given registration code does not match a valid registration>

What is going on here?? This should work

We got the barcode scanner to work.. SO we can use the barcode scanner for now on the actual website.

But we still can’t login to the EE Mobile App,, Even though it let us login once already.

Still saying data is not in correct format..

Because I think maybe this error is permalink thing ( but maybe not) I wanted to inform you that I created another ticket that has to do with getting EE categories to show up in slug. https://eventespresso.com/topic/ee-category-slugs-in-url/

And please, I need to make sure for SEO purposes that my “PAGES” still show up as example.com/pagename before you make any changes since you have FTP access and WP admin access.

As far as posts or custom events. That part doesn’t matter much because I only have one blog post in 3 years. The rest are all just event espresso events and they all just say example.com/events/postname

My current permalink structure is /%category%/%postname%/

Hi Jarred,

Did you get the email I sent? If not, we’ve looked into this and we’re not seeing any errors in the app after logging into the site. We used the account that was sent in the priority support form. Can you try logging into the app with that account?
