Missing Attendees (3)

I have discovered at least three missing attendees/bookings from our website in the last two weeks.

The customers emailed to change their bookings, which I couldn’t find and it prompted me to do a check on all bookings in the last two weeks and I found three missing. The customers have confirmation emails that are sent from our site, so the payment gateway (eway) and the site must be talking to each other ok, but an extensive search does not show their bookings on the site at all – yes I have checked all filters are correctly set to show all attendees. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi,

Have you spoken to the missing attendees to see if there was any error messages? If there was a pop up, what did they do at that point? Did they do more than one registration (separate registrations/payments) one after each other?

Have you checked your database to confirm these attendees are definitely not saved?

Doing all that now. Will let you know the outcome. Just hoped it was a known issue/fix.

Hi mpurse,

yes I have checked all filters are correctly set to show all attendees

The attendee filter is a little confusing so just confirm this.

To load ALL attendees you need to first load ALL the events.

Go to Event Espresso -> Event Overview. Set the Status Filter to ‘All (Active/Inactive)’

Set the DB row retrieval to ALL and click ‘Retrieve’

Now click the ‘All Attendees’ link and search for the attendee.

Are they still not view-able?

Correct, done all that and still not viewable.

It was a known issue a while back, we fixed it so that a warning message appeared.

If the user ignores that warning message then they will over write their existing data.

This means if they register two time sand ignore that message after the first they will get all the emails, you will get paid etc but the second lot of details will wipe out the first lot.

Example warning http://take.ms/JuMNm

OK, well I asked the customer if there was any error or warning so I will report back when I hear back so we know if there is a new problem, or user error. ๐Ÿ™‚

thanks.
