Dear Support,

We accept bank wire transfer payments manually.
At this point we would like to send 2 Email notifications right away at a trigger by bank payment notification accepted: payment notification and ticket notification at once.

How can we do it?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Do you mean when you have manually confirmed the payments has been received?

If so you apply the payment to the transaction for the user in the admin:

Event Espresso -> Registrations -> {edit the registration} -> View transaction – http://take.ms/9WfiR

Then click to apply a payment – http://take.ms/NKvYO (bottom right fo the screenshot)

When you apply the payment, make sure to set the Registration Status to ‘Approved’ and check the ‘Payment Messages’ and ‘Registration Messages’ to trigger the related messages for that payment – http://take.ms/EHSXI

That should trigger the messages you requested above.

Hi Tony,

thanks for your suggestion. That’s right. I apply this procedure as you describe. What I need to do is to ensure that by applying payment manually not the registeration notification would be sent with payment notification together but ticket notification within ticket right away. How can I make it happen?

Thanks.
Alex

So when you apply a manual payment you want only the ticket notice message to send? No other messages?

No, both payment notification and ticket notification within ticket with qr code (already in place).

You can’t include the actual ticket in the emails as the barcodes are generated using a JS library within the browser, so you need to include the ticket link for the user open, not the actual ticket itself.

What you can do, is include the ticket link in the Registration Approved email so you don’t need an additional email (the ticket notice), would that work for you?

Thanks. It could be a solution for us. We have currently 2 cases to analyse, why 2 attendees automatically became ticket notifications, while confirming bank wire transfer manually. Other cases are all the same: manual action for ticket notification needed.

I’m really sorry, but I don’t understand the above.

Can you re-phase the question please?
