Can you link us to a page we can view this on please?

Have you added your license key to Event Espresso -> General Settings? You license key is available from Your Account Page

Please use the key that does not end with _FREE

We’ve not had any issues with the message boxes similar to this.

Actually does your theme use white text on a dark background?

Hi,

We don’t but can you check that there are no JavaScript errors in the console? Also you may want to try and inspect element on the message to see if any CSS is affecting it.

There are no javascript errors and this is what the code looks like when inspecting:

<div id=”espresso-ajax-notices-error” class=”espresso-ajax-notices error fade-away” style=”display: none;”>
×
</div>

So there is no message text – there should be an error message of a required field is empty.

Can you point me to the source code or hook or anything we can try?

Thanks.

Could you please tell me which scripts need to be loaded for the error messages to be shown. I think it could be because we optimized and scripts are now loaded together & in the footer.

Thanks.

Hi, its difficult to determine the exact cause of this. You mentioned that the scripts were combined.

Are you able to temporarily deactivate that option and re-test?
