LinkedIn API – Finding Event buddies

When a visitor or delegate registers or pre-registers for event, I would like EE to use the user’s Linkedin profile to suggest possible contacts on LinkedIn to meet at an event or to contact before the event. The API willl extract data from LinkedIn and suggest people with similar profile e.g. expertise, company, country, etc. Is this possible with any current add-ons?

An integration with LinkedIn is not currently available. We’d have to build an integration with their API. If you really need this feature we might consider adding it if you can help with the cost (more information about Sponsored Development https://eventespresso.com/about/philosophy/#sponsored-development), otherwise we’ll add it to our list of feature requests.
