Limit to event exceeded

I’ve added a limit to my event, but somehow more people registered then allowed. (See picture)

In this case when people pay via iDeal their status is changed to Approved. When they decide to pay in another way (via banktransfer) the standard status is “Waiting for payment”. In this case we had to manually register 4 paymentments because they payed via banktranfer, but before we could register the banktransfers in Event Espresso the limit was already exceeded by people who pay with iDeal.

Apparently the limit only looks at approved tickets? What would be a good way to deal this, so next time the limit won’t be exceeded?

Hi,

The limit does only count approved tickets. In other words if they have not paid yet, they do not reserve a spot. You can change this by setting the “Default Registration Status” option to “Approved”.
